After the AWIN project concluded in 2015, the Animal Welfare Science HUB saw limited updates. This stagnation created an impasse, hindering the progress of animal welfare science and the mission set forth by the AWIN partnership.
In 2021, the International Society for Applied Ethology launched a new version of The HUB with financial support from Open Philanthropy.
