The Animal Welfare Science HUB has been featured on the official website of the City Hall of Pirassununga, highlighting a significant step forward in promoting animal adoption and welfare in the community.

 

A dedicated team of veterinarians from the Secretary of Environment and S.O.S. Animal, in collaboration with Professors Adroaldo Zanella and Rodrigo Martins Soares from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ) at the University of São Paulo (USP), along with their veterinary students, made special visits to the Municipal Shelter in May.

 

During these visits, they closely examined the shelter's operations and collected biological data for potential improvements. This effort resulted in the creation of a comprehensive database containing information about the animals available for adoption.
